A new adaptive sports program has been started in Harker Heights, for Bell County children
(ages 5-20) with special needs.
Activities include Soccer, Basketball, Kickball, Baseball and  Rock Climbing.

The Heart of Texas
provides support,
encouragement and
information for persons
affected by Autism
Spectrum Disorder
(ASD), their  families and
the community.

We work to improve the
help people with ASD
live, work and
participate as fully and
independently as
possible in our society.

Programs and activities
are available for families
and the community.
Monthly meetings are
held with guest
speakers; child care is
usually available, with a
reservation, for children
with autism spectrum
disorders and their
siblings.

non-profit organization

who speak Spanish to
help the parents of ASD
persons whose primary
language is Spanish.

Those qualified and able
to help should contact
HOTAN through our

HOTAN is seeking
volunteers to organize
and execute various
programs, activities and
functions it supports.  

Come volunteer with
the annual Walk for
Autism, or other
fundraisers, programs
(monthly meetings,
supper clubs and other
informational and social
events), community
relations, volunteer
coordination, and
communications
(website, newsletters
and publicity).

Creativity and
enthusiasm are
welcome!
