Knowing how to swim is an essential survival skill.
It's also fun!

In addition to the self confidence that comes with
learning how to swim, water can be a powerful
therapeutic tool, especially for people with autism.
Water provides a sensory "blanket" of pressure

as well as buoyancy, which can be very
beneficial when working on motor skills.

The YMCA in Waco has swimming lessons for children,
youth, adults with disabilities. Instruction is tailored

to the individual’s needs and abilities.
Flexible scheduling on
mutual agreement  with instructor.
Cost per 4-week unit: $25 for non-YMCA members
(=$7.50 per session), $10 for members of YMCA.
