NEW!  Texas Health Insurance Premium Payment (HIPP) program helps families pay for group health insurance. A family
that meets the following two criteria might be eligible if:
Someone in the family gets Medicaid  AND  Someone in the family can get group health insurance.
Family members who already get Medicaid can still get Medicaid services not covered by the health insurance, go to doctors
who take the group health insurance, have co-payments and deductibles paid for by Medicaid when they go to a doctor who
takes Medicaid. Family members who do not get Medicaid might get group health insurance coverage, if they qualify for HIPP.
When a family qualifies for HIPP, Medicaid repays the family’s insurance premiums.
