The Arc of the United States is seeking input from individuals with developmental and
intellectual disabilities, family members and caregivers in a nationwide survey to identify
individual needs for disability supports.

The Family and Individual Needs for Disability Supports (FINDS) survey is available
online.
Everyone is invited to contribute their opinions and forward the link to anyone who may have an
interest.

“The information gleaned from the survey will help identify—and document—nationally, by state
and locally what families want in terms of needed services and supports,"  said Dr. Ann
Cameron Caldwell, Chief Research and Innovations Officer for The Arc of the United States.
"This information, including personal stories, will be valuable in informing and supporting
ongoing program development, advocacy and policy work.”

Target areas include starting and ending conversations appropriately, “slipping in” to groups of

During children’s sessions, parents will meet for facilitated discussion of how to promote
generalization of these new skills to their child’s natural environment.
